Poland has become home to many migrants and refugees, especially from Ukraine and Belarus whose lives have changed due to conflicts in their homelands 🌍
But what is their professional situation in Poland? 🤔
The analysis of Gremi Personal shows that 94% of Ukrainian migrants were employed in Poland before the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine. Currently, after two years of struggle, this rate fell to 64%.
Migrant earnings in Poland are growing – in 2023 the average monthly salary oscillated between PLN 3000-4000, although many of them still earn below PLN 3000.
The increase in wages is the result of rising minimum wage and low unemployment, and qualified Ukrainian professionals, speaking Polish, can compete for better jobs.
